I thought that because MB&A isn’t a Business Partner, you can’t get support directly from Avaya. Is that true?

I was told MB&A can’t provide mission critical patches and software fixes to our communications system like Avaya can. Is this true?

I have never heard of MB&A, but I have heard of Avaya.  How can I be sure you will do what you say you will and that you know Avaya phone systems?

Why should I choose MB&A?


I thought that because MB&A isn’t a Business Partner, you can’t buy directly from Avaya. Is that true?
The truth is no business partner buys directly from Avaya—all go through a distribution channel. MB&A is an authorized agent for several Platinum Business Partners, ensuring us the ability to put customer software and upgrade requests out to bid for the best price.

I was told MB&A can’t provide mission critical patches and software fixes to our communications system like Avaya can.  Is this true?
Avaya only provides bug fixes on the most current and (rarely) most recent prior release of its software.  If the current release is R14 and you are on R12 or below, there will be NO additional patches from Avaya.
With MB&A Remote-Tek phone maintenance, we support and cover all releases of software-we’re responsible for any expenses, not you!
